Store

  • We will NOT be requiring vaccination proof, but WILL be requiring that EVERY other restriction be followed:
  • Masks are MANDATORY. NO EXCEPTIONS. We have complimentary disposable masks available as you enter the store.
  • Either gloves or sanitizing will be required to interact with the merchandise. We have complimentary disposable gloves, latex and latex-free, as well as hand sanitizer available as you enter the store;
  • Contact tracing will be in effect. We have a contract tracing book at the entrance to the store. The information is used ONLY for contract tracing.
  • Sanitizing will be required to interact with the cats. We love our fur-babies and hope you do too.
  • Priority will be given to private booking appointments, which can be made via our “bookings” button and the top of this page.

With recent changes regarding province-wide COVID protocols, we greatly appreciate your understanding in adhering to our regulations. We are a privately-owned business and operate out of a dual use building that is also our home – we set regulations as we see fit to protect our family, friends, and customers.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, during Christmas of 2022 our original shelving had collapsed, causing damage to the wall, and destroying shelving and counter space. We are now pleased to announce the back stone counter is fully operational!

Meet Our Staff

Sheena (Owner)

A practising Wiccan of 20 years, she’s become known as the ‘Practical Witch’. With a well rounded knowledge of the Craft, paganism, and divination. She has owned the one-stop metaphysical shop for 18 years and counting! She prefers Anchovies with EVERYTHING, an unhealthy amount of creamer with her coffee, and of course, has a soft spot for all furry felines.

Kabuki is truly taking our slogan to heart, we really are Witch Crafted. Familiar Approved!

BARON (Customer Relations Representative)

The most out-going of the triplets known as ‘The Nobles’, or ‘The Kittens’, Baron is the zoomie king. His blue bow tie is occasionally equipped, since he has a habit of slipping out of it. Baron does not understand consent, as he is too eager to help patrons and might jump on your back. In his spare time, this trickster will beg for the water to be turned on to a slow stream, and will stare at it as it quickly trickles down the drain!

Duties Include:

=ᗢ= Basket and Seating Inspector

EARL (Human and Kitty Resources)

The most clingy of ‘The Nobles’ or ‘The Kittens’, Earl loves to smurgle, engulfing his mom’s torso! (Smurgling is when a cat kneads and sucks on a piece of clothing, or blankets as a result of being removed from their mother cat too soon). When he’s not calling for a smurgle meeting, he will reach out a paw to gain the attention of patrons, and pose for a photoshoot. His contrasting orange bow tie really stands out on his black fur. The photogenic mommy’s boy never fails to make sure that every kitten gets the correct amount of pets and treats!

Duties Include:

=ᗢ= Keeping the Store Owner’s Lap Warmed
=ᗢ= Negotiating Demands Between Cats and Humans
=ᗢ= Posing for Photos, and Reaching for Fame

FLASH (Store Greeter)

Flash is the only girl, (signified by her pink bow tie) and an official senior at 14 years old! She used to be very skittish and would run from any attention, but now she’s a total snuggle-bug! If you spot her, make sure to get cozy on the ground as she will curl up in your open lap and purr loudly. Her mews are very distinct, and her gaze means one thing: “love me!” Be warned, being our resident senior her claws are sharp, because she must defend herself from the ever-playful kittens. However she has grown immense confidence since being brought from her farm home, and will beg for any pets she can get her “murder mitts” on.

Duties Include:

DUCHESS (Quality Control)

As the biggest of ‘The Nobles’ or ‘The Kittens’, Duchess has a stone-cold stare used to ensure the quality of every treat passed to him. He can be spotted with his dark green bowtie on top of the cat tree, keeping an eye on passersby. Out of all the cats, Duchess is the most picky with his pets, but yields the greatest reward; when given bum scratches his tail tightly twists into a black spiral!

KABUKI (Store Supervisor)

As the longest working cat, Kabuki remains ever-dapper, in his grey tuxedo. The impossibly soft tummy IS a trap and when sprung, it activates the bunny kicks. Kabuki taught ‘The Kittens’ to be cats, despite him being a kitten at heart. This fluffy boy can be a bit of a grouch, but has a heart as soft as his fur!
